BIOS and UEFI Cooling Options
BIOS/UEFI have ability to configure fans:
- quiet mode - reducing fan speed and allows higher temps to occur
- balanced mode - normal setting by default
- cool mode - fans run harder and faster (useful for overclocking)
- fanless mode - tells motherboard not to control fans
- custom mode - allows customization beyond preconfigured sets of quiet, balanced, and cool mode
Motherboard has built-in temp sensors
